Precise subject classification and keywording of metadata result in higher sales via Approval Plan and New Title Alerts systems for library suppliers and library consortia, while E-Procurement systems ensure sales with companies and other regular customers. Publishers have the option of retrieving and incorporating their enriched metadata into their websites and applications, or disseminating their data in ONIX and MARC by using our Metadata Management system.

Book Trade

With the Approval Plan and E-Procurement systems designed in their CI, library and corporate suppliers streamline their B2B clients' order processes, take part in tenders and generate additional sales. Partner booksellers bind regular customers using our B2B Systems and the required bibliographic catalogues for books, journals, and databases, thereby showing their strengths as fulfilment partners.

Libraries

Our Approval Plan systems and information-rich metadata, specifically curated for the library environment from information supplied by our partner publishers, organize and optimize library acquisition processes. An OPAC Matching feature, using the Z39.50/SRU gateway to compare media inventories with actual order proposals, leads to precise selection and efficient acquisition. Our MARC Record Service allows libraries to process bibliographic data of orders and import them into their library catalogues.

Consortia

Library consortia use our Approval Plan system and the NEWBOOKS classification scheme to streamline the acquisition process for major state and university libraries. Automated data flows between the Approval Plan and the library software in use: Alma, SISIS-SunRise, Aleph, ensure the transfer of order information resulting in orders with the chosen library supplier/local bookseller. New and forthcoming titles of our partner publishers are editorially processed and sent to acquisition librarians daily.
